Refund Policy

A LEGAL DISCLAIMER
EFFECTIVE APRIL 14TH 2026

Pho Sho Photography LLC (“Company”) maintains the following Refund Policy to ensure fairness, transparency, and protection for both the Company and its clients. By booking any photography services, the client (“Client”) acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined below.

All session retainers, booking fees, and deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances. The retainer secures the Client’s session date and compensates the Company for reserving time, turning away other potential bookings, and preparing for the scheduled services. A session is not considered booked or guaranteed until the required retainer is received.

Any remaining balance owed for services must be paid in accordance with the agreed payment schedule. Payments made beyond the retainer may be refundable only at the sole discretion of Pho Sho Photography and only under the limited circumstances outlined herein.

In the event the Client cancels their session for any reason, including but not limited to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, change of plans, or dissatisfaction prior to service delivery, all retainers shall be forfeited. If the Client has paid amounts beyond the retainer, the Company may, at its sole discretion, issue a partial refund of amounts exceeding the non-refundable retainer; however, the Company reserves the right to retain payment for any work already performed, administrative time, or losses incurred.

Rescheduling requests must be submitted with reasonable advance notice and are subject to availability. Pho Sho Photography may, at its discretion, allow one (1) reschedule without penalty if adequate notice is provided. Additional rescheduling requests may require a new retainer or incur additional fees.

In the event Pho Sho Photography must cancel services due to circumstances within its control and is unable to provide a reasonable alternative date, the Client shall be entitled to a full refund of all payments made, including the retainer. The Company shall not be held liable for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, acts of God, illness, emergencies, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule.

Due to the custom and creative nature of photography services, no refunds will be issued once services have been rendered, including dissatisfaction with artistic style, poses, editing, or final images, provided the services were delivered as described. By booking with Pho Sho Photography, the Client acknowledges and accepts the Photographer’s artistic style and agrees that such style is subjective and not grounds for refund.

All sales of digital products, edited images, and delivered galleries are final and non-refundable. Once images have been delivered electronically or physically, no refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued.

Pho Sho Photography reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of breach of contract, inappropriate behavior, failure to follow session guidelines, or misuse of services.

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut.
